Kristin's Fund Co-Founder Gina Pearce recently sat with WIBX 950's Keeler In The Morning to discuss details about the upcoming 3rd annual Kristin's Fund Gala at Turning Stone Resort Casino and the special guests that will be attending.
The 2019 Kristin's Fund Gala will feature special guest and keynote speaker Leslie Morgan Steiner- author, consultant and thought leader on women's leadership, work-life balance, inspirational parenting, overcoming adversity and surviving violence against women.
Leslie's publications include Mommy Wars, New York Times bestselling memoir of abusive love - Crazy Love, and The Baby Chase. She recently completed her fourth nonfiction book which explores female aging and sexuality after motherhood and divorce. Leslie shared her own story, corrected misconceptions many people hold about victims of domestic violence, and explained how we can all help break the silence, in her TED Talk with almost 5 million views - "Why Domestic Violence Victims Don't Leave".
