Kristin's Fund-Community Involvement
After Kristin's death, Gina spent several years focusing on family and researching domestic violence causes, effects and needs in her community and beyond. After establishing relationships with agencies such as the New York State Department of Criminal Justice and New York State Coalition Against Domestic Violence and local domestic violence service providers, she worked with her brother, Joe, and sister-in-law, Jami to form Kristin's Fund. Now, Gina serves her community by sharing her passion for creating domestic violence awareness through her involvement in Kristin's Fund and by sharing her story to further prevention efforts. Her past community volunteer efforts include working on several election campaigns and raising funds for local domestic violence agencies.
