Jami DeBrango-Palumbo
Jami DeBrango-Palumbo is the CEO of SIH Consulting LLC, a strategic advisory firm specializing in biotech innovation, regulatory transformation, and organizational leadership. With over 25 years of global leadership in pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, and molecular diagnostics, she has held increasingly senior roles at IDEC Pharmaceuticals, Biogen-Idec (BIIB), Genentech, Roche, and Foundation Medicine Inc.
Her executive journey includes positions such as SVP of Global Operations and Client Services at Foundation Medicine Inc., Global Head of Sequencing Operations at F. Hoffmann-La Roche Ltd., and VP, Officer of Global Regulatory. Jami also served as President and General Manager of Roche Carolina Inc., leading the Small Molecule Pharma Technical site, and held pivotal roles in Engineering, Operational Excellence, and Leadership Development. She is someone who has literally built operations from the ground up, leading the design with built in efficiencies, leadership and organizational development, and launch, merger or acquisition of biotech sites across the globe, from California to South Africa.
Jami attended The College of Saint Rose and holds certifications in Change Management (Connor Partners), High-Performance Organizational Design (Drexler-Sibbitt), and advanced training in Biological Manufacturing and Engineering from MIT, Learning and Organizational Development and Strategy from London Business School and UCSD. She also has served on the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) Hollings Cancer Center Board of Advisors since 2011.
She authored Strength In Heels, featured in Women Living on Purpose: Real Stories of Women Living with Passion, Intention, and Vision, and also sponsors and trademarked the brand, emoowereing indifivuals to lead with vision, confidence, operational savvy and resilience. Through the Strength In Heels Platform, she sponsors an elite mentorship program designed to support not just women, but anyone ready to rise into purposeful leadership.
Jami’s connection to Kristin’s Fund is deeply personal. As someone raised in Upstate New York, she understands the power of close-knit communities and the urgency of protecting and empowering those most vulnerable. Through both her leadership in healthcare, where patients often face fear, uncertainty, and systemic barriers - and her advocacy for women’s safety and equity, Jami remains deeply committed to lifting up those whose voices often go unheard. Kristin's Fund-Community Involvement
Jami is active in her community. In addition to Co-Founding Kristin's Fund, she also serves on the Advisory Board of the Hollings Cancer Center. She has volunteered time to support organizations such as The School Foundation in Florence, SC, Wounded Warrior Project, American Cancer Society, Stand Up to Cancer, The United Negro College Fund, and St. John the Evangelist Church.
For Kristin's Fund, Jami oversees the operations and organizational structure of Kristin's Fund, Inc., the Gala Fundraising Committee, and the strong partnership with A Call to Men Football camps, she has been lead contact with several organizations that Kristin's Fund has funded and partnered with on domestic violence initiatives.
